Rates and Booking
Rates 2024
The 2024 season is Saturday 22 June - Saturday 31 August.
Accommodation may be booked only by the week (or multiple weeks). Arrival: Saturdays, 4:00 pm or later. Departure: Saturdays, 10:00 am or earlier.
The daily rate is $190 CAD (or USD equivalent) for the season.
Saturday 22 June - Friday 30 August: $1330 CAD/week. Please note, an additional one time $105 CAD housekeeping fee is charged at booking.
NB The daily (and weekly) rate is lower on our site than others where a service provider assists you to connect with us. For those other sites, we set a higher daily rate to recover our costs (5% commission and 3.5% payment processing fees) charged by the service provider directly to McKfolly Studio Loft. Also, we do not charge a booking fee nor Canadian GST (Goods and Services Tax) at 15% (PEI GST) that the guest must remit to any other booking service provider at the time of booking.
Booking
Email the owner with your preferred dates to confirm availability to book
A 25% non-refundable deposit (of the accommodation cost plus housekeeping fee) is required at the time of an in-year booking to reserve the studio loft. An Interac e-transfer deposit is due immediately; a mailed check, bank draft (money order) or wire transfer deposit is due within 10 business days.
Final 75% refundable balance payment is due no later than 30 days prior to Check-in date (becomes non-refundable within 30 days of Check-in date). This applies to all forms of payment: an Interac fund e-transfer, mailed check or bank draft/money order, or wire transfer.
If your reservation is made less than 30 days prior to rental Check-in date, full payment (non-refundable) is due upon Confirmation. An Interac fund e-transfer deposit is due immediately; a mailed check, bank draft (money order) or wire transfer is due within 10 business days.
No cash payments are accepted at arrival for check-in unless the booking is arranged within 10 business days of occupancy. Do not mail a cash payment.

Your payment will be automatically deposited into the Owner's account; no password is required. Please ensure the amount, recipient's name and email address are correct per the details provided above before sending the payment.
Guests from the United States and other countries can choose one of the following payment methods:

You will receive a Booking confirmation/receipt upon our receipt of your payment.
Payment provided means you've read & accept the House Rules and Cancellation and Refund Policy found below.
Arrival and Departure times can be somewhat adjusted to accommodate guest requirements subject to the previous and following weeks' bookings.
House Rules
Payment to the owner means you have read and accept the following rental terms:
The studio loft will not be occupied by more than two booked adult guests
No pets will be accommodated on the property
There will be no smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, other legal drugs) inside the Loft or use of illegal drugs anywhere on the property
You will take care not to play excessively loud music or otherwise create a nuisance to the neighbours at any time
The studio loft will be clean when you arrive, and you agree to leave it in good order
You will notify the owner promptly of any damage or problems that arise so they may be addressed immediately for your comfort and of those who follow you
Cancellation and Refund Policy
For a booking cancellation 30 days or longer prior to the check-in date, any paid rental cost, less the non-refundable 25% deposit, is returned.
For a booking cancellation within 30 days prior to the check-in date, no refund of any paid rental cost will be returned.
In the event of life-threatening illness or other similarly urgent unforeseen situation requiring cancellation, the owner will refund the entire rental cost paid for a booking cancelled within 30 days of the check-in date.
The booking is non transferable. Consider purchasing cancellation insurance.
