NOTE: Potential impact of Covid-19 for a 2024 Booking
As your holiday host on PEI, we continue to monitor for Covid-19 impacts on discretionary travel to and on the Island. If you are considering a PEI holiday during the summer of 2024, please ensure you are familiar with, and that you comply with any and all Canadian federal and provincial requirements in place at the time you plan to visit. All bookings made for the 2024 season are "tentative", pending possible Covid-19 discretionary travel restrictions in PEI at the time of your planned visit. The following is from our complete booking cancellation policy found in the Rates and Booking section: " In the event of life-threatening illness or other similarly urgent unforeseen situation requiring cancellation, the owner will refund the entire rental cost paid for a booking cancelled within 30 days of the check-in date." In other words, in connection with Covid-19 travel restrictions, you will recover your accommodation payments received by us no matter the cancellation date.

"Wonderful stay in PEI"
I had a wonderful stay in PEI, the loft is superb and an ideal location to stay. It could not be better located for the bike trails, a quiet beach isn't far by car, supermarkets and gas station are also close by. The loft is spotlessly clean, very well kept and every need has been taken care of by super friendly owners. Highly recommended, don't miss this one!

"A peaceful vacation location" ...enjoyed my week at John and Bev's studio loft. Everything one would possibly need was in this intimate space. "Oasis on the Bay"
"This was our second stay at this lovely loft retreat. It is perfect for a couple. The location is tranquil and close to beautiful beaches. If you enjoy bike riding the location is very convenient as the Confederation Trail is in your backyard. The loft is fully equipped and the king-sized bed is very comfortable. You can fall asleep to the sounds of nature or if the night air is too warm, the a/c is a cool relief. The hosts are lovely and very considerate. Highly recommend." The McKfolly Studio Loft is a great place for one or two people to rest, have peace and quiet, to do creative work, explore nature and enjoy outdoor activities, or to seek out the Island's artisans, entertainment and dining venues. The daytime and moonlit views of the Bay, and starry nighttime skies are outstanding from the loft balcony, screened porch and grounds. Situated waterside on the south shore of St. Peters Bay, there is on-site launching for your canoe or kayak, shore walking/combing and bird watching. Outstanding white sand beaches suitable for swimming are just ten minutes away. (Note: On-site swimming is feasible but not ideal - shallow water, pebbly bottom.) The rolled stone-dust Confederation Trail for walking, running or cycling, and birding, is at the top of the driveway. PEI National Park - Greenwich site, numerous superb North shore gulf and bay beaches, top-rated golf courses, and the retail services and entertainment you will want for pleasure and comfort are just minutes away.
When you stay at McKfolly, your independence and privacy is as important as ours. The loft accommodation is completely independent from our cottage home - we are nearby but far enough away. If you have questions or there's something you need in a pinch - we are available. We're happy to share whatever knowledge we have to make your stay all you want it to be. But above all, this is your holiday - your way.
